I think there is some logic to an early Anhui with the original, Bonaventure-esque nacelles, leading to the one you are working on now, and finally to the Shangdu iteration above. It could represent two variations among members of a class built over a long period (sort of the thing I have laid out for the Horizon and Archon classes). The last iteration could be the later -- 2220s -- refit.

If you want to vary the secondary hull at all you might want to explore moving from a hangar bay behind doors along the port and/ or starboard sides, to a aft clamshell arrangement or something similar.</description>
