I’m hoping the bridge will look better without the light flares on the photograph, and with some more toned down movie lighting.

I suspect they’re really going for a TMP-like “bright” look to distinguish the new Enterprise from the old Starfleet of which the Kelvin will be the main example. Which could mean that the Kelvin bridge will be properly retro? Hmm… I want to see the Kelvin’s bridge

I’m still optimistic. The ships look ok, I love the uniforms, and the cast looks as good as can be hoped for. (Just going by the stills, Pine certainly has that Kirk swagger.)

I’m not crazy about the bridge but I’m also taking a wait and see. Can’t imagine that I won’t be there when it opens.
